After the Rain, A poem by Rupsingh Bhandari

Departed downpour

The drenched earth

Quenching the creation…

Incubating the creativity

The sky appeared clinical blue

The festive ripples … calmed

Basking under the sun after drinking up the sky.

Cloud seems tired

Just resting over the sky clueless

The rain seems slowly easing off

Returning back the

Warmth of freshness

Let’s chirp our own songs on the branches of

Hope again…

As a freshness after the long cry.
