An agreement of historical importance has been reached during the visit to China: Prime Minister Oli

Kathmandu. Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that during his official visit to China, agreements of historical importance were made.
Prime Minister Oli, who is on an official visit to China at the friendly invitation of Chinese Prime Minister Li Qiang, while addressing the reception ceremony organized by the Nepalese Embassy in Beijing on Wednesday, said that the visit is worthwhile to broaden, heighten, deepen and strengthen the mutual relations.
He informed that as Nepal has entered an era of political stability and prosperity, it is now moving forward on the journey of prosperity by increasing investment and cooperation from developed countries like China, and preparations are being made to bring a large number of Chinese tourists to Nepal by 2025. Prime Minister Oli said that he was encouraged by the discussions with Chinese businessmen.

He said that the current government formed in collaboration with the two major parties in Nepal will make every effort to make Nepal modern and prosperous, and

At the ceremony, Foreign Minister Dr. Arju Rana Deuba said that Prime Minister Oli’s visit has strengthened the relationship between the two countries. Nepalese ambassador to China Dr. Krishna Prasad Oli said that the visit was successful in increasing the mutual trust and understanding of the two countries.

During the visit of Prime Minister Oli, an agreement was signed between Nepal and China on cooperation in various fields, including the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) cooperation.

Prime Minister Oli will return home soon after visiting China.
