At least 100 North Korean soldiers die in Ukraine war

Seoul, South Korea says that at least 100 North Korean soldiers who went to fight on behalf of Russia in the war with Ukraine have died. Since the beginning of this month, North Korean troops have participated in the Ukrainian war. In this context, South Korean lawmaker Lee Sung-kwon said this. The intelligence agency of the country informed the parliament about it.
Sung-Kwon gave this information while talking to reporters after the Parliament meeting. He said that among the dead were high-ranking military officers and because they were not familiar with Ukraine’s territory and drone warfare, they were killed. North Korea sent 10,000 troops to help Russia in the war in October.

On Monday, the US Department of Defense Pentagon also said that the number of North Korean soldiers died in the Ukrainian war without specifying the number. A day later, an unnamed US official said that several hundred had been injured or killed.
It was reported that North Korea sent people who had no experience of fighting in war to Russia.
