Australia entered the Super Eight of the World Cup with a third consecutive win

Australia defeated Namibia by nine wickets in the match at the Survivian Richards Stadium in the West Indies and entered the World Cup Super Eight. Australia, which is in Group B, has reached the Super Eight of the World Cup with its third consecutive win. Australia had earlier defeated Oman by 39 runs and England by 36 runs.

According to the international media, Australia chased down the normal target of 73 runs given by Namibia for victory, losing one wicket in five and a half overs. Travis Head contributed the most for Australia with 34 runs. He is unbeaten on 34 runs with five boundaries and two sixes in 17 balls. Similarly, David Warner scored 20 while Captain Mitchell Marsh scored 18 runs. Namibia’s David Wiza took a wicket.

Before that, Namibia lost the toss and batted first. For Namibia, captain Gerald Erasmus contributed 36 runs off 43 balls with four fours and one six. Similarly, except for Michael van Lingen who scored 10 runs, other players could not score double-digit runs.
