Kathmandu, In the final, Barcelona won the Spanish Super Cup by winning 5-2 against arch-rivals Real Madrid.
Rafinha scored two goals to win Barcelona’s “El Clasico” at the King Abdullah Sports Center in Saudi Arabia on Sunday night. Lamine Yamal, Robert Lewandowski and Alessandro Balde scored one goal each. Although Real’s Kylian Mbappe and Rodrigo scored one goal, they could not avoid the team’s defeat.
Mbappe scored in the fifth minute of play to give Real the lead. However, Yamal’s goal in the 22nd minute brought Barcelona back into the game.
In the 36th minute, Lewandowski scored a penalty to give Barcelona a 2-1 lead. Three minutes later, Rafinha scored to give Barcelona a 3-1 lead. Balde scored the fourth goal for Barcelona in injury time of the first half.
When Rafinha scored the second goal in the 56th minute, Barcelona increased the lead to 5-1.
In the 56th minute, Barcelona’s goalkeeper Vejcek Szejny left the field after receiving a red card. Even though Rodrigo scored a goal in the 60th minute, he could not prevent Real from losing.
