Biden tells America to work with Israel to save Gaza civilians

‘ Tel Aviv’. US President Joe Biden has said that the US will work together with Israel to prevent civilian deaths in Gaza. After meeting with Netanyahu’s war cabinet in Tel Aviv, US President Biden said, “We will continue to support Israel to work to protect its people. We will continue to work with you and partners in the region to prevent further tragedies for innocent civilians.” US President Biden said after meeting with Netanyahu’s high-level committee on war affairs in Tel Aviv.
In response, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu pledged to try to avoid civilian deaths.
He accused Hamas of deliberately killing civilians and bringing them close to the target while carrying out deadly attacks inside Israel and controlling the Gaza Strip on October 7.
But Netanyahu told Biden, “Israel will do its best to keep civilians out of harm’s way in war.”
“We have asked them to move to safe places and we will continue to ask them to move to safe places”, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu told US President Biden, “Mr. President, we will continue to work with you to ensure that the minimum requirements are met.”
Biden is set to pay a solidarity visit to Israel after prompting an Israeli air campaign and increasing the threat of a ground attack on the Gaza Strip.
On the eve of the visit, an attack on a hospital in Gaza killed between 200 and 300 people, according to health officials in the Hamas-controlled Gaza Strip. They have blamed Israel for the attack, which has sparked outrage across the Arab world.
Israel has claimed that a missile fired by Islamic Jihad fighters hit the wrong target, causing heavy casualties in the hospital.
After the international community expressed concern about the attack on the hospital, Netanyahu said, “The whole world is outraged.” But this anger should be directed not at Israel, but at the terrorists.” – (RASS/AFP)
