Breach, A poem by Trina Chakraborti

Breach

Vision through a stone eye

The one sited by the side

of a long-while extinguished light

I think, I know him

Candle melts in water

The abstract-figured house by the river

Tree with white flowers

and a sudden call

These sharp thoughts

in such a gusty night

like an ice knife

stabbed deep inside the tree

Vision through a stone eye

The one who will leave

Just before the falling

of a huge dark

Do I really know him?
