Kathmandu. The upgraded version of the ‘Ceres 3’ electric vehicle has entered the Nepali market. ‘MAW Vrdi Autocoup’, Nepal’s official distributor for the Ceres brand, launched this vehicle at an event in the capital on Wednesday.
In Nepal, this EV is available in two variants, Comfort and Premium. The price of comfort has been fixed at 49 lakh 99 thousand rupees and the price of premium has been fixed at 52 lakh 99 thousand rupees.
The length, width and height of the vehicle with a wheelbase of 2655 mm are 4385, 1850 and 1650 mm respectively. Similarly, the ground clearance is 190 mm. There are five seats in the car.
It has a PMSM motor with a capacity of 99 kW. The company claims that the vehicle with a battery capacity of 52.7 kWh will give a range of up to 405 km on a single charge.
Ceres 3 with EPS (Electric Power Steering) steering includes disc brakes on all four wheels.
It has a 10.25-inch infotainment system and six airbags. In terms of safety, it has features like Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Wheel Launch Assistant, Auto Hold and HDC, Parking Sensor, Traction Control.
The premium variant has some more features than comfort. Premium features like wireless mobile charging, front collision warning, 360 camera are provided. Similarly, the Premium has the facility of panoramic sunroof, while the Comfort does not have this facility.
Features like daytime running lights and LED headlights, keyless entry, automatic climate control are available in both variants of the vehicle.
It has three drive modes Eco, Normal and Sport. Regarding the steering mode, there are three modes namely comfort, normal and sport.
