Kathmandu– Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Guo Jiaqun has urged companies from all countries to invest in China and seize opportunities. He said this when more information was requested about ‘China Development Forum 2025’.
The forum was held in Beijing from March 23 to 24, with the slogan ‘Unlocking growth momentum for the sustainable development of the world economy’. Chinese Prime Minister Li Qiang gave a keynote address at the opening ceremony of this forum on Sunday.
In his address, Guo called on all parties to grasp the power of development through China’s economic characteristics and find the right path amidst international dynamics. “This reflects China’s confidence and commitment to sustainable economic development,” he said.
According to him, more than 750 foreign representatives participated in this forum. The number of multinational companies participating for the first time has increased, and the industry sector has also expanded.
“This is a sign that foreign investors are optimistic about China and believe in its economic potential,” Guo added, adding that “investment enthusiasm in China remains strong.”
He said China prioritizes high-quality development and openness. “Companies from all countries are welcome to invest in China and plan for the future. Our goal is to stabilize global economic growth,” he said. Agency
