Kathmandu. China’s ambassador to Nepal, Chen Song, had a courtesy meeting with the Home Minister Ramesh lekhak.
On Monday afternoon, Ambassador Song reached the Ministry of Home Affairs at Singha Darbar and met with the Minister of Home Affairs, along with a congratulatory note.
In the meeting, the Home Minister said that the two countries have always had cordial relations and expressed the belief that the relations will expand and strengthen in the future.
The Home Minister wrote that China is an important development partner in Nepal’s infrastructure development and other fields.
The Home Minister has thanked China for its support in Nepal Police and Armed Police Force, Nepal’s infrastructure construction and capacity building. In addition, he expressed his commitment that Nepal is committed to the One China policy and that the land of Nepal will not be used against its neighboring countries, according to the Home Ministry.
Ambassador Song also expressed his belief that the friendly and diplomatic relations between Nepal and China will be stronger in the future. He expressed confidence that there are many similarities between Nepal and China, including culture, that the relationship will be strengthened in the coming years.
Similarly, Ambassador Song made it clear in the meeting that he will coordinate with the Nepalese government for border management, cross-border crime control and security of the citizens of both countries. In addition, he said that the Chinese government would provide all possible support to strengthen the immigration administration.
