Kathmandu. The Minister of Foreign Affairs, who left Berlin, Germany on Wednesday. Arju Rana Deuba has arrived in the capital of India, New Delhi. She landed at the New Delhi airport at 8:30 am today.
Officials of the Nepali Embassy in India gave a formal reception at the airport. Earlier, Minister Rana had completed her visit to Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, and Germany.
During her visit to Germany, Minister Rana participated in the Conference on the Rights of Sexual and Gender Minorities – 2024. She presented her views on the challenges of violence, oppression, and systemic inequality faced by gender minorities at the conference.
She pointed out the need for fundamental transformation in policy making and discussed the possibility that feminist foreign policy can bring long-term effective change. Minister Rana’s participation in the course of the visit has strengthened the voice of gender equality and inclusion at the international level.
