Havoc Due To Heavy Rainfall And Flooding In Nepal; 83 died so far in disaster-related incidents

The monsoon season has brought various challenges and havoc due to the heavy rainfall and flooding in Nepal. Eighty-three people have died so far in disaster-related incidents, including landslides and floods, triggered by relentless rains across the country. The Police Headquarters stated that 33 men, 25 women and 25 children have died in such incidents in various places of the country since 10th of June. 106 people have been injured and five persons, including three women and two men, are missing.

 

Nepal Armed Police Force has issued an advisory to the public to stay away from flooded rivers.
