Iga Swiatek of Poland wins French Open 2022 Women’s Singles Title

Paris: In French Open Tennis, World Number One Iga Swiatek of Poland won the French Open 2022 Women’s Singles Title by beating US teenager Coco Gauf in Paris this evening. The Pole clinched her second title in three years in straight sets 6-1, 6-3 over Gauff who was making her first final appearance at the clay-court Slam.

The Men’s Doubles summit clash match between 12th seeds Marcelo Arevalo and Jean-Julien Rojer and unseeded duo of Ivan Dodig and Austin Krajicek will be played a short-while from now.

In Men’s Singles final tomorrow, Rafael Nadal of Spain will be playing against Casper Ruud of Norway. This is Nadal’s 30th Grand Slam final and aims to become the oldest men’s champion at Roland Garros to capture a record-extending 22nd major title.
