Kathmandu. An Islamabad court has sentenced former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan to 14 years in prison in a corruption case related to the Al-Qadir Trust.
The court also imposed a fine of Rs 10 lakh on Khan. In the same case, the court has sentenced Imran Khan’s wife Bushra Bibi to seven years in prison and a fine of Rs 500,000.
The court also ordered the Pakistan government to take control of Al-Qadir Trust.
Imran Khan, his wife and other PTI leaders were present in the court when the court pronounced this sentence.
The case against Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi is related to the donation of over 190 million pounds or the Al-Qadir Trust case of more than 56 acres of land. which was given by the private housing society Bahria Town to Al-Qadir University.
