India successfully launches rocket carrying European satellites

 

Kathmandu. India’s space agency, the Indian Space Research Organization, on Thursday successfully launched the PSLV-C59 rocket carrying the European Space Agency’s Proba-3 satellites.

The launch took place from the Satish Dhawan Space Center in Sriharikota region of southern state of Andhra Pradesh. The two satellites of the Proba-3 mission on the PSLV rocket have successfully separated after a few minutes of launch.
