Kathmandu-– AETM College and OTS Academy are organizing an international conference on “Sustainable Tourism Development in Uncertain Times”. The conference will be held in Kathmandu on April 7-8.
The organizers have stated that this conference will bring together academics, researchers, policymakers, tourism industry, and students to discuss the opportunities and challenges of sustainable tourism.
The conference will discuss key topics such as tourism policy, ecotourism, community-based tourism, destination promotion, and climate resilience. The conference aims to contribute to developing sustainable tourism strategies in a changing global context.
It is said that the research papers presented at the conference will be selected and published in the Journal on Tourism and Sustainability.
Researchers should submit a proposal by March 1 with an abstract of maximum 250 words and 5-6 key words.
The two-day conference will feature keynote addresses, panel discussions, and research paper presentations, culminating in a special networking dinner.
Participants will also have the opportunity to participate in educational conference tours to explore the cultural and historical heritage of Kathmandu.
