IRCTC is offering a 10-day tour package, Bharat Nepal Ashtha Yatra, for pilgrims

Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has now come up with a new tour package for pilgrims. It has now introduced this 10-day tour that will cover destinations like Ayodhya, Prayagraj, and Varanasi India, along with Pashupatinath in Nepal.
This package will also take pilgrims to a host of other pilgrimage sites, such as the Ram Janmabhoomi temple, Hanuman Garhi, Saryu Ghat, Tulsi Manas temple, Sankat Mochan temple, Kashi Vishwanath Corridor, Ganga Aarti, Ganga – Yamuna Sangam and Hanuman temple.
In Kathmandu, the famous Pashupatinath Temple, Darbar Squire, and Swaymbhunath Stupa will also be included in the tour. As per the reports, the tour will commence on October 28, and has been named Bharat Nepal Ashtha Yatra.
To facilitate the pilgrims in their travel, various de-boarding and boarding points have been set by IRCTC, which will include Ghaziabad, Delhi, Tundla and Kanpur railway stations.
This special package of 9 nights and 10 days will cost INR 34650 for double or triple occupancy, while single occupancy will be INR 39850 under the tour’s ‘comfort’ category.
Reports have it that these charges are all inclusive of train journeys, meals on the train and off the train (veg only), night stays at hotels, transfers from different places, travel insurance, security charges and taxes. The cost of the package is exclusive of monument charges, meals decided by the passengers, adventure activities, room service and any expenditure of personal nature.
However, passengers should note that they will have to mandatorily carry their COVID-19 vaccine certificate for temple darshan and sightseeing of monuments. They can either keep their certificate either in the form of soft or hard copies. Also, a hard copy of the Voter ID or Aadhar card will be compulsory for them to carry.
