Kathmandu. Japan successfully launched H-3 rocket. The ‘H-3 Number Three’ rocket was launched on Monday from the Tanegashima space center in the southwestern Japanese island.
Hiroshi Yamakawa, president of the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA), described Monday’s successful launch as the “first big step” in ensuring Japan’s access to space and international competitiveness.
“I believe that two successful flights in a row will gain confidence from inside and outside the country,” said Makoto Arita, H3 project manager of Zaxa, saying that the mission was almost completely successful.
This was the third launch of the H-3 system after the successful launch on 17 February. Zaxa’s spectacularly unsuccessful first rocket trip had to be destroyed with a rocket ‘payload’ a year earlier.
