Washington DC. A wild fire has been burning in the city of Los Angeles (LA) in California, USA for a few days. Experts say that this fire, which has reached urban areas, is one of the most expensive fires in US history. Experts say that the damage caused by the fire has reached more than 50 billion dollars so far.
According to preliminary estimates by private forecaster Accuweather, the damage caused by the fire is between 52 billion and 57 billion dollars. The fire has also burned down homes in some of the most expensive places in America. So far, nearly 2,000 homes have been destroyed and five people have died.
Officials are trying to put out the fire, but the fire is not extinguished. Jonathan Porter, chief meteorologist at AccuWeather, called it a terrible disaster. In 2018, wildfires in Northern California killed 85 people and displaced more than 50,000 people. Agency
