France and Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) striker Kylian Mbappe has confirmed that he will sign with Spanish club Real Madrid. According to the British news agency, Mbappe has agreed to a contract with Madrid from next July until 2029. PSG said in a statement on Tuesday that Mbappe did not renew his contract with the club. Madrid have been trying to sign Mbappe for a long time. In 2018, Mbappe signed for PSG from Monaco in a €180 million transfer fee. He was 18 at the time.
During the transfer season, Madrid had to send a good offer to PSG to sign Mbappe. However, PSG and Mbappe himself were rejecting Madrid’s offer. This time, Madrid has succeeded in bringing in Mbappe. In 2022, the French player decided to stay at PSG even after the contract with PSG ended. This time, Madrid has added more than what it offered two years ago. Madrid have offered £12.8m per season to sign Mbappe.
Similarly, the contract amount between the two parties is 128 pounds, according to the agency. Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti has said that the team’s finishing line will be the strongest with Mbappe’s arrival. “Maybe with the arrival of the French player, our finishing side will be stronger,” Ancelotti said.
