More than 200 media workers killed in Israeli strikes

Gaza- A Palestinian journalist, Ahmed Mansour, was burned to death in an Israeli airstrike in Khan Younis, southern Gaza. A video that went viral on social media shows Mansour, a reporter for Palestine Today, screaming and struggling in flames.
The people who were there tried to save him by throwing water on the fire but were unsuccessful. According to the international media, 2 journalists were killed and 8 injured in the attack.
The Israeli military confirmed the attack and claimed that journalist Hassan Elsleyeh was targeted. Hassan is accused of involvement in the attack on Israel on October 7, 2023, and was also injured in Monday’s airstrike, according to reports.
Since 2023, more than 200 journalists and media workers have been killed by the Israeli army, according to international media. It is considered to be the deadliest conflict for journalists so far.
Human rights groups have condemned the attacks, while the Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ) in the Middle East and North Africa has accused Israel of repeatedly targeting media workers and flouting international law.
As of last month (March 25), the Israel-Hamas war has killed more than 50,000 Palestinians since October 7, 2023. More than 113,000 others have been injured.
