Kathmandu: The National Human Rights Commission has concluded a press meet and discussion program on the issue of efforts and suggestions from the commission regarding transitional justice. The report on ‘National Human Rights Commission and Transitional Justice’ prepared by the Commission has been published today.
Murariprasad Kharel, Secretary of the Commission, presented the theme commission, including recent actions on transitional justice from the National Human Rights Commission and suggestions mentioned in the report. On behalf of the experts on the report, Dr. Rishikesh Wagle, Dr. Devi Khadka and Sushila Chaudhary had said on behalf of Kundan Aryal and the conflict victims. Honorable member of the commission in the program chaired by Hon’ble Chairman of the Commission Tap Bahadur Magar Surya Dhungel, Human Rights Activist and former member of the commission, Sushil Pyakurel had made the comment. The program was present with Hon’ble Member of the Commission Manoj Duwadi, Joint Secretary of the Commission, Deputy Secretary, Active persons in the field of transitional justice, journalists.
