The Nepal police have detained 12 people accused of illegally sending young recruits to the Russian army. This comes days after authorities confirmed the death of six Nepali fighting for Russia in the Ukraine war. Nepal has prohibited its citizens from joining foreign armies except countries like India and the UK with whom they have agreements.
