Nepal tourism promotion program held in Berlin, Germany

Nepal’s tourism promotion program has been organized in Berlin, Germany. According to the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) Nepal Chapter, Nepal’s tourism has been promoted in the world’s largest tourism trade fair ‘ITB’ Berlin 2024 held there. PATA Nepal has participated in the ITB Berlin held from February 22nd to 24th in collaboration with 40 different tourism and hospitality professional companies from the private sector involved in Nepal’s tourism business.
The promotional fair organized for the tourism industry is the world’s largest and leading travel trade show. In this year’s ITB Berlin, more than 5,500 vendors and exhibiting companies from 170 countries were invited to tour operators, tourism industry buyers and business visitors from around the world. Oman, the official sponsor country of ITB Berlin 2024, promoted Oman as an attractive destination with a grand presentation at the official opening event and invited all the global tourism stakeholders present to visit.

Ramkaji Khadka, the Nepalese ambassador to Germany, while inaugurating the Nepal Pavilion, thanked the businessmen for ensuring Nepal’s important and influential presence on the world’s largest platform for promoting the country’s tourism.

Adventure tour operators, airlines, hoteliers, tour operators, mountaineering, trekking, and expedition operators, as well as wellness and health tourism enterprises in Nepal, under the Nepal Pavilion equipped with tourist attractions with a stupa in the center at Hall 5.2 Stand 127, Nepal’s regular location on the exhibition grounds at Messe Berlin. They have promoted various tourism products and services that provide transformative, immersive and unforgettable living experiences.
President of Pata Nepal Chapter Vibhuti Chand Thakur expressed his gratitude to all the Nepalese tourism businessmen for their active participation in ensuring the representation of Nepal in ITB Berlin. Expressing his happiness that Pata Nepal is playing a role in marketing and promoting the country’s tourism while keeping the image of Nepal high through the fair, he promised to be active in sustainable tourism development in Nepal.
Vijay Amatya, senior tourism businessman and executive manager of Kora Tours participating in the fair, mentioned that the impressive presentation of Nepal, the high number of participants and the attractive decoration of the stand attracted the attention of the world.
