Nepal will benefit from BRI: PM

 

Beijing. Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, who is on an official visit to China, said that Nepal will benefit from the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI).

In a program held at Peking University here, Prime Minister Oli expressed his belief that the strong support of China in the development of Nepal and the BRI project started under the visionary leadership of President Xi Jinping will further strengthen the mutual relations between the two countries. Prime Minister Oli said that in 2025, on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Nepal and China, high-level visits will be exchanged between the two countries and a new dimension will be added to the mutual relations.

Prime Minister Oli said that old universities like Peking can contribute to the educational development of Nepal. Prime Minister Oli was welcomed by the university’s president, Prof. Gong Qihong. Other members of the delegation led by the Prime Minister also participated in the event.Prime Minister Oli is scheduled to address the program of entrepreneurs and businessmen today.
