Nepal won by 6 runs in practice match before World Cup

Kathmandu. Nepal has defeated the Houston Hurricanes in the practice match. Nepal won the match by 6 runs on Friday night.
Chasing the target of 147 runs given by Nepal, the Hurricanes managed to score only 140 runs, losing 8 wickets in the scheduled 20 overs.
Lahiru Milantha of Hurricanes scored the highest 33 runs. Ali Sheikh 23, Smit Patel 19 and Drew Gomel were dismissed for 18 runs. Nepal’s Sompal Kami and Karan KC took 2 wickets each. Rohitkumar Poudel, Avinash Bohra, Sagar Dhakal and Kushal Bhurtel took 1/1 wicket.

Before that, Nepal lost the toss and started batting first, losing 8 wickets in the scheduled 20 overs and scoring 146 runs. Nepal’s Anil Kumar Sah scored 47 runs. Captain Rohit Kumar Paudel was dismissed for 23, Gulshan Kumar Jha for 20 and Sandeep Zora for 21 runs while Karan KC remained unbeaten for 10 runs.

Nepal will play their next match against Hurricane on Saturday night. Nepal is going to play two games as practice matches before the World Cup.(Edited)Restore original
