Kathmandu. Nepali national team for ICC U-19 Women’s World Cup 2025 has been announced.
The Nepal Cricket Association (CAN) announced the Nepali team under the captaincy of Pooja Mahato. Soni Pakhrin is the vice-captain of the team.
Along with captain Pooja and vice-captain Saini, Sana Praveen, Jyotsnika Marasini, Kusum Godar, Alishakumari Yadav, Savitri Dhami, Tirsna Vick, Kiran Kunwar, Riya Sharma, Rachna Chaudhary, Seemana KC, Sneha Mahara, Anu Kadayat and Krishma Gurung are in the tally.
The ICC U-19 Women’s World Cup will begin in Malaysia from January 5 to 20.
Nepal is in Group ‘D’ in the World Cup. Australia, Bangladesh and Scotland are in the same group along with Nepal. Nepal will play its first match against Bangladesh on Magh 5, its second match against Scotland on Magh 7, and its third match against Australia on Magh 9. The Nepali team is practicing for the World Cup at the under-construction Gautam Buddha International Cricket Stadium in Chitwan.
