New satellite launch by China

Taiyuan – China launched a ‘new satellite group’ into space on Thursday from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center in northern China’s Shanxi Province.

This group of eight satellites will form the ‘SpaceCell Constellation’. A SpaceCell Constellation is a group of spacecraft that use the power of sunlight to travel through space.

The launch was done at 1:15 pm.
The launch is the 557th flight mission of the Long March carrier rocket series.

The rocket, developed by the Shanghai Academy of Spaceflight Technology, was fueled with oxygen and kerosene propellant, which is pollution free.

According to the rocket manufacturer, there will be more than 10 space launch programs in 2025.
SpaceCell is a Chinese satellite called ‘Mega Constellation’. It began construction of a commercial network on August 6, 2024. Agency
