Paris. At least three people died in a fire that broke out in an eight-story apartment building in the French capital Paris. This explosion took place on Sunday evening. However, the cause of the explosion has not been revealed.
This building was in an arrondissement of Paris. According to the preliminary investigation, there was an explosion before the fire on the seventh floor of Rue de Caron. The deputy mayor of the arrondissement, Luc LeBon, said that the neighbors could not understand how the explosion happened because there was no gas in the building.
It is said that this case is being investigated from the angle of fire or damage and murder. Investigators from the second judicial police district of the capital have been assigned to find out the cause of the explosion. People living in nearby buildings were evacuated after the explosion. The matter is currently being investigated.
This is the third such explosion in the capital of France in the last few years. Earlier in 2019, there was a similar explosion in Rue de Travis in which four people died. Also in June last year, there was an explosion at 277 Rue Saint-Jacques in which three people died.
