Petroleum Exploration: Dozens of workers are engaged in excavation

 

Dailekh. Dozens of workers and technicians are involved in the extraction and exploration of petroleum products in Bhairavi rural municipality-1 Jaljale of Dailekh.

Two hundred and eighteen meters of drilling has been done during the excavation. Drilling will be done up to 4,500 meters, said Prakash Luintel, Information Officer of the Petroleum Exploration Project under the Mines and Geology Department.

Informing that the workers are working round the clock and the work is being done by applying a shift system, he said that the work is being done with the goal of completing the excavation within the next four months.

According to the agreement with the Chinese government in 2075, exploration has been started with a subsidy of 2.5 billion.
