Moscow. Russian President Vladimir Putin has warned of World War III. Putin made this statement after winning a big victory in the recently concluded presidential election. With this, Putin is sure to become the president of Russia for the fifth time.
Immediately after the results were announced on Monday, Putin in his first speech threatened Western nations and warned of World War III. He said that if there is a conflict between the NATO alliance led by Russia and the United States, there will be a third world war and no one wants to see such a situation.
Relations between Russia and Western countries are going through the worst phase since the 1962 Cuban missile crisis. Last month, French President Emmanuel Macron did not rule out the possibility of landing his troops in Ukraine in the future.
When Putin was asked about this, he said, “In today’s modern era, anything is possible, but if this happens, World War III is not far away.” NATO troops are still in Ukraine. Russia knows that there are English and French speaking soldiers on the battlefield. This is not particularly good for them, because they are dying in large numbers here.’
Russia ready for talks on war in Ukraine
Putin attacked Ukraine in February 2022. Putin said that France can play an important role in the negotiations as everything has not been completed yet.
“I have said it before and I am saying it now, we are ready for talks. These talks are not just happening because the enemy has run out of ammunition. “They are really serious and if they want peace, they should have good relations like neighboring countries,” Putin further said. News Agency
