Refusal by Hamas to negotiate with Israel

oil industry Hamas has refused to hold new talks with Israel. At a time when the Israeli media is saying that Israel wants to hold another negotiation for a ceasefire in Gaza, Hamas official Osama Hamdan has expressed that there is no need for new negotiations.
In a telephone interview with Al Jazeera Arabic on Saturday, Hamdan said that Israel should withdraw its troops from the Gaza Strip to prevent all attacks.
He said that they do not need new negotiations, saying that Israel rejected the ceasefire proposal that they had agreed to.
He also says that there is no guarantee that Israel will accept the new proposal and that starting another round of negotiations would give Israel more time to continue its attacks.
Earlier this month, Hamas passed a ceasefire proposal brokered by Qatar and Egypt. But Israel said that the proposal was not in accordance with its demands.
