The second India-Nepal Cultural Festival in Lumbini was jointly inaugurated by Mr. Krishna Bahadur Gharti Magar, Governor of Lumbini Province; Hon’ble Mr. Prachanda Bikram Neupane, Minister for Industry, Tourism & Transport Management of Lumbini Province; Hon’ble Mr. Janmajay Timilsina, Minister for Social Development of Lumbini Province; Dr. Lharkyal Lama, Vice Chairman of Lumbini Development Trust, and DCM

Mayor of Butwal, former MPs from Lumbini province, CDO and SP of Rupandehi district and a wide cross-section of civil society members and senior monks were present at the event.

The event showcased two distinguished performances: a mesmerizing Buddhist-themed Kathak dance recital by an eight-member troupe from India, supported by
ICCR, and traditional Nepali dance performances by Mr. Swojan Raghubanshi and group. The event was jointly organised by Indian Embassy in Nepal and Lumbini Development Trust.
