Kathmandu Famous Indian cricketer Shikhar Dhawan, who came to Nepal to play in Nepal Premier League (NPL), visited the Everest base camp. Along with him, the team including Karnali Yaks co-owner Ghrendra Ghimire visited Everest Base Camp on Sunday. They spent 3-4 hours at Everest base camp.
After observing the Everest base camp, Shikhar returned to the country on Sunday evening by Air India. Earlier, he had visited Pashupati Nath during the NPL. Shikhar has expressed his desire to visit Nepal next March. Shikhar, who played 4 matches for Karnali, scored 136 runs with a half century. Karnali brought him into the NPL by paying him 30,000 dollars for each game. Returning to India, he said that playing the NPL in Nepal was a good experience. “It was a good experience. I got a chance to teach Nepalese players something and I also got a chance to learn something,” he said.
