Pekhara – The plane of Sichuan Airlines carrying 126 passengers from Chengdu, China landed at Pokhara International Airport on Thursday morning. This is Sichuan’s third charter flight to Pokhara. A narrow body ship will come with a Chinese team of 126 people who will participate in the second international dragon boat race on February 14 and 15 at Fewa Lake.
It has been two years since Pokhara Airport was opened on January 10th. During this period, 7 chartered and 3 other international flights have taken place so far. Earlier, charter flights were made from China, Bhutan and India. When the airport was inaugurated on January 1, 2023, a Himalayan Airlines flight flew from Kathmandu to Pokhara on an international standard.
