The first opportunity for Nepal to host the AIPS Asia Congress

Kathmandu. The 25th Congress of the Asian Sports Journalists Federation (AIPS Asia) will be held in Nepal in the last week of August. Nepal Sports Journalist Forum has been entrusted with organizing the program from the meeting of AIPS Asia held in Santa Susana, Spain.
In the meeting, Nepal, Malaysia and Kyrgyzstan submitted their claims and Nepal won the said claim.
Nepal Sports Journalist Forum had earlier organized the meeting of the Central Working Committee of AIPS Asia in 2016. Handing over the Congress project to Nepal, AIPS Asia President Hee Dong Jung from South Korea said that he is confident that Nepal Sports Journalist Forum, an active organization in Asia, has been able to organize a big conference since it has been conducting effective programs in the past.

This is the first opportunity that Nepal has got in the history of AIPS Asia Congress which is being held only by competent countries like Qatar, South Korea, China, Saudi Arabia. Chairman Hi Dong said, ‘Nepal has been given such a big responsibility to spread the scope of Asian sports journalism to all Asian countries.’

Sports journalists from over 30 Asian countries will be present at the AIPS Asia Congress. Journalists from other guest countries will also participate in it.
After being entrusted with the project, Durganath Subedi, President of Nepal Sports Journalists Forum, praised all the members of the Nepal Sports Journalists Forum saying that the hard work and hard work of all the members is behind the opportunity that Nepal Sports Journalists Forum has got. Subedi mentioned that the Congress will be used as an opportunity to show Asia about the Nepali sports sector, Nepali tourism, Nepali sports journalists.
The meeting handed over next year’s congress to the Hong Kong Sports Press Association.
