Kathmandu. The government is going to establish its own satellite in Nepal. On Tuesday, President Ramchandra Paudel presented the government’s policies and programs at the joint meeting of the Federal Parliament and said that satellite-based internet services will be started in remote and difficult areas. By developing digital literacy, expanding access to information technology for women, minorities and backward classes, regions and communities has also been emphasized in the policies and programs.

President Paudel said, “Satellite-based Internet service will be started in remote and remote areas.” Arrangements will be made at different levels to make cyber security research, response and public awareness raising effective. Access to information technology will be expanded for women, minorities and backward classes, regions and communities by developing digital literacy. The work of establishing Nepal’s own satellite will be advanced.
