Kathmandu. South Korea’s Samsung Electronics workers have warned that they will go on strike against the suspension of negotiations with the management regarding wages.
The Samsung Electronics management and the company’s employee union have been holding regular talks since January over the long-standing dispute regarding the pool facility. Both sides have failed to reduce the differences between them as they could not reach an agreement in the talks.
Workers are going to mark the first walkout to protest the failure of negotiations. From today, they are preparing to go to public exhibition.
“We announce the strike due to the management’s tendency to ignore the workers,” the labor union said.
Samsung, which has expanded its business to 74 countries, has employed 270,000 workers.
