Kathmandu. Houthi-run al-Masirah TV said on Tuesday that the US-British coalition launched an attack on Houthi camps in Yemen’s capital and other provinces at midnight.
The attack targeted al-Haffa camp in eastern Sana’a and al-Dailami air base in the north. They also attacked the city of Rada in the central province of Al-Bayda and the Maqbanah area in the southwestern province of Taiz.
Locals said that the explosion was powerful and its sound was heard throughout the city. The attack took place a few hours after the Houthis launched a missile attack on a US military ship in the Gulf of Aden on Monday and claimed a direct hit.
The American side has not commented on the alleged attack. The US-UK naval coalition in the Red Sea has carried out several airstrikes on Houthi camps in various northern provinces of Yemen.
