Uruguay beat Canada in a penalty shootout to finish third

Uruguay finished third in Copa America 2024 after defeating Canada 4-3 in the penalty shootout. In the match for the third place on Sunday morning, the game reached a shootout after the 90-minute match was tied 2-2. Where all four players who scored a penalty for Uruguay missed two players from Canada.
Federico Valverde, Rodrigo Bentancur, de Arascaeta and Luis Suarez scored for Uruguay. Only Jonathan David, Moise Bombito and Mathieu Choiniere scored for Canada.
