Kathmandu. Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that the government is working to bring Pokhara and Bhairahawa International Airports to full capacity.
On Saturday, Prime Minister Oli informed on the social network Facebook that he has formed a working group to report on how the airport can be operated at full capacity. Oli has also informed that permission has been given to operate four flights a week at Bhairahawa Airport from yesterday.
“Thai Air Asia has received permission to fly four days a week from Bhairahawa-Thailand since yesterday. We are working to bring Pokhara and Bhairahawa International Airports into use for international flights with full capacity. We have assigned responsibility’, Oli wrote.
The Prime Minister has mentioned that the Tribhuvan airport will also reduce the pressure when those airports are put into operation. “When these two airports are brought into operation, the pressure of Tribhuvan International Airport will also decrease, I also request the experts to give suggestions regarding the operation of the airport”, Oli wrote on Facebook.
