Tomorrow’s Dream, A Poem by Monalisa Parida

TOMORROW’S DREAM!

Poem composed by Monlisa Parida

Lay beside me

Hold me gently

Dream with me.

These December firmaments

Reflect in our eyes

The starry night,

Making love to you

Just before sunrise.

Snowflake wishes,

Mistletoe kisses,

Warm fire nights,

Caressing soft touches,

You at my side,

The greatest gift

In spending time with you.

Cashmere smooches

Porcelain skin

Getting lost in your eyes

Diving deep again.

Because,

You are the yesterday’s promise,

Today’s hope,

And tomorrow’s dream.
