Kathmandu. Won 13 gold and nine silver medals in the 6th Singapore International Wusu Championship (Festival).
The Nepali team finished second in the overall game. The National Sports Council has honored the players who returned home after playing.
Acting member secretary of the council Anjan Dhamala congratulated the players. A team of 12 people went to Singapore under the leadership of coach Vishal Thapa. Thapa has received the best coach award in the championship.
Congratulating the players, Dhamala said that the high performance of the players has increased Nepali pride. Athletes Alice Marik won three gold medals and Himanshu Khadka and Wavita Thapamgar won two gold medals each.
Saphal Pathak, Bhavesh Khadka, Sameer Basnet, Rhythm Gole have received one gold medal each. Similarly, coach Vishal Thapa informed that Praksha Lama and Yanchenla Ilawa also received one gold medal each.
Similarly successful readers, Sameer Basnet, Rhythm Gole have received one silver medal each. Similarly, Serina Parajuli and Furpigyalmo Tamang got two silver medals each and Yanchenla Ilawa and one silver medal each in the group event.
