19 newly elected members of National Assembly takes oath

Kathmandu: Chairman of the National Assembly Ganesh Prasad Timilsina has administered oath of office and secrecy to 19 newly elected members of the National Assembly.

They were sworn in at a ceremony held at the Federal Parliament Secretariat in Singha Durbar today.

The newly elected members are Jayanti Devi Rai, Sonam Geljen Sherpa, Gopal Kumar Basnet, Urmila Aryal, Mohammad Khalid, Gomadevi Timilsina, Krishna Prasad Poudel, Kamala Pant and Bhuvan Bahadur Sunar.

Newly elected members Suresh Kumar Ale Magar, Rajendra Laxmi Gaire, Tul Prasad Bishwakarma, Yuvraj Sharma, Durga Gurung, Nara Bahadur Bista, Uday Bahadur Bohara, Madan Kumari Shah (Garima), Jagat Bahadur Parki and Narayan Dutta Mishra have also taken oath.
