33rd Southeast Asian Games to begin in Thailand

The 33rd Southeast Asian Games SEA 2025 is taking place in Bangkok and Chonburi province in Thailand, starting today, with the Opening Ceremony at the Rajamangala National Stadium.

Thailand is hosting over 13,000 athletes, where 11 Southeast Asian nations will compete at the 2025 edition hosts Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Cambodia, Philippines, Singapore, Myanmar, Vietnam, Lao People’s Democratic Republic, Brunei Darussalam, and the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste. Athletes will compete across 50 medal sports, ranging from Olympic disciplines to traditional regional sports.
