70 countries gather in Abu Dhabi for Regional Cyber Security Week

Dubai. United Arab Emirates (UAE) in collaboration with International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and Arab Regional Cyber Security Center (ARCC) is organizing Regional Cyber Security 2023 from today to next Thursday.
The ceremony started in Abu Dhabi under the theme of ‘Cyber Security Innovation and Industry Development’. The UAE-sponsored Regional Cyber Security 2023 is the largest cyber program in Arab and Islamic countries.
More than 100 experts and speakers from 70 countries, including 57 member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), as well as 10 international organizations will gather this week to discuss best international strategies and practices in the field of cyber security. This week, a new virtual infrastructure model will also be presented to the participants to provide them with a realistic cyber attack experience. This week, there will be 50 programs covering the latest trends and developments in cyber security, challenges and risks faced by cyber security, response and recovery from cyber security incidents, and cyber security education and awareness.

The UAE Government’s Cyber Security Office said the global digital economy is growing in size. This office has mentioned that it will reach 20 billion US dollars by the year 2025
