8,000 insurgents killed by Nigerian army in 11 months

Kathmandu. Eight thousand and 34 gunmen including rebels and bandits have been killed by the Nigerian Armed Forces in eleven months.

Military spokesman Edward Buba has said that 11,623 insurgents were arrested in Nigeria’s capital Abuja from January to early December.

During this period, the army also recovered about 8,216 weapons and 211,459 rounds of ammunition from the gunmen. News Agency Nepal
