An International Summit for Children’s Development and Peace is being held from February 27 to 29 under the auspices of the Lumbini State Government.
9 Nobel laureates will come to Lumbini to participate in the program. They are going to participate in the Laureates and Leaders Summit.
It has been confirmed that more than 200 development partners from different countries will participate in this international conference, which will be held in conjunction with 2014 Nobel Prize winner Kailash Satyarthi of India.
There are 7 people including Nobel Peace Prize winner Satyarthi in the Steering Committee of Leaders, whose secretariat is in the US.
The government of Lumbini believes that this conference will spread the message of peace, harmony and compassion in the field of children and increase the attention of the world for the development of Lumbini.
Nobel Peace Prize winner Timor Leste’s former president Joze Ramos Orta, Jody Williams, 2011 joint winner Lehm Bobi and Tuvako Karman will be present at the conference. Also, 2015 Nobel Peace Prize winners Abdessatar Wayne Moussa and Veded Busamabui and Nobel Laureates in Medicine Richard Roberts and Nobel Laureates in Chemistry Ari Warsall will come to Lumbini to participate in the conference.
