9 people, including the Iranian president and foreign minister, died in a helicopter crash

 

Kathmandu. 9 people including Iranian president and foreign minister have died in a helicopter crash. 9 people including President Ibrahim Raisi and Foreign Minister Hussain Amir Abdullahiyan died in the accident that took place on Sunday.
Malek Rahmati, the governor of Iran’s East Azerbaijan province, also died in the accident. According to Iranian state media, the Bel-212 helicopter that was carrying the president was burnt in the accident, except for a part of the back.
President Raisi’s helicopter crashed while returning after the inauguration of the dam in the border area with Azerbaijan. The local media reported that the helicopter carrying President Raisi made a force landing. But there is no independent confirmation of this.
