Ranveer Singh’s spy action thriller, Dhurandhar, directed by Aditya Dhar, has achieved a stunning milestone at the domestic box office, crossing ₹100 crore in just three days.

Released on December 5, 2025, the film has delivered one of Ranveer Singh’s biggest opening weekends, surpassing the first-weekend collections of his previous hits, including Padmaavat (₹78 crore), Simmba (₹75.11 crore), and Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani (₹46.81 crore).

According to Sacnilk, Dhurandhar opened to ₹28 crore net on Day 1, followed by a 14.29% jump on Saturday, earning ₹32 crore and bringing the two-day total to ₹59 crore. On Sunday, the momentum continued with ₹43 crore, taking the three-day total to ₹103 crore. Analysts attribute the strong performance to positive word-of-mouth and stellar performances by the cast.

About Dhurandhar
Set against the backdrop of Pakistan in the early 2000s, the film follows Ranveer Singh as Hamza, an Indian intelligence operative who infiltrates the Lyrai gang to relay critical intelligence on terrorist networks. The ensemble cast also features Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, R. Madhavan, Sara Arjun, and Rakesh Bedi.

Critics and audiences have particularly praised Akshaye Khanna’s portrayal of Rehman Dakait, Ranveer Singh’s compelling turn as Hamza, and R. Madhavan’s physical transformation for the role. Hindustan Times’ review notes: “Dhurandhar works best as a character study wrapped in a sprawling espionage drama. The storytelling is indulgent and detailed, but the emotional stakes and the cast keep you hooked. Trim thirty minutes, and this would have been a knockout. As it stands, it is a sturdy watch.”

With its thrilling narrative, engaging performances, and positive reviews, Dhurandhar is set to continue dominating the box office and remains a must-watch for fans of spy thrillers and action dramas.
